When my Sister Shirley sent me an apron like this, I cut
a pattern from it to make some for my girls. Then Cheryll
suggested I make one for little Molly for when she wants to
help "stir" for Grannie Christie. The crocheted name is
another of my pet projects and I have made a few lately
for the newer members of our family.

I love aprons. I think they make great gifts. My mother made one for Allee when she was little. Allee is eighteen now and I still have her little apron to give to her daughter when the day comes.
I love the idea of passing down the apron. Mom made Molly a matching pot-holder too. For some reason Molly loves pot-holders.
